Death Shrouds
Textile coverings for loved ones as they transition through the final ritual of burial or cremation. Each death shroud is made from antique linen, silk and cotton. The hand cut patterns are stitched together to represent images of deep space, especially the Tapestry of Blazing Starbirth, which was released by NASA this year.
